Get a Boots Advantage Card

If you don’t have an advantage card then I would highly recommend that you get one. The advatage card awards 4 points for every £1 you spend instore or online at Boots, and each point is worth a penny. So essentially you are getting 4p back (or 4% off every £1 you spend).

Most of the best deals that you get in Boots can be found at the advantage card machine, there is usually 1 in every shop and it loooks a bit like a cash machine. You just insert your advantage card and see what offers are on in store at the moment. (Offers range from extra points on purchases, buy one get one free and some times there are some freebies to be had when they are launching a new product in store) You print out a voucher which can then be used at the till when you are paying.

To put this in persprective Boots is a massive company with thousands of offers on across the UK at any one time. Meaning it is very hard for Boots to keep track off all its offers, this is great for us the consumer. There have been some instances with the Advantage card machine offer that they have given 250 advantage card bonus points (which is equivalent to £2.50) for buying something from one of their ranges, but some of the products in the range have been £1 or less so if you bought the product and used the offer you would essentially be making money from the transaction.

Triple Points Weekends

Boots often have triple points weekends when it wants to boost it’s sales at certain points of the year. This is a great time to take advantage as triple points is equivalent to a 12% cashback on your purchase.

Top up your phone at Boots

If you have a pay as you go phone then the best place to buy your phone cards is Boots as you will be getting your advantage card points on the sale too equal to a 4% cashback.
