As I am finding out first hand, it is a pretty tough time in the housing market and getting a mortgage let alone even being in sniffing distance of putting an offer in on a property is easier said than done, especially for me being a first time buyer.

I saw this site – Easy House Exchange which allows you to swap your home with someone else on the site and pay the difference in the value of the 2 properties on the move.

The site doesn’t have many properties on it at the moment, but I wonder if it will catch on? It’s currently free to use until March next year and I guess it does offer a solution for people who need to move but can’t currently sell.

It’s no use for me as I am a first time buyer though.
