Scottish and Southern Energy offer incentives to reduce power consumptions

Scottish and Southern Energy the second biggest energy supplier in the UK have announced a plan to introduce individual incentives to their customers. Credits of up too £100 could be given to customers who can reduce their energy consumption by just 10%, this is on top of money of any other discounts they might receive on their power bill.

Homes in the UK account for a quarter of total carbon emissions so it is essential to start reducing power use.
