Plusnet no ties broadband
One of the main problems with broadband internet connections is that you are tied into a 12 month contract, this can become a problem if you move property or stop using broadband as you are legally obliged to pay the remainder of the contract off.
So it is refreshing to see the launch of broadband provider – Plusnet’s new no ties broadband offers.
Plusnet has 4 different packages ranging from £9.99 per month for 1Gb download limits up too 8Gb download limits for £14.99 per month. And all packages are allowed unlimited downloads between midnight and 8am daily.
All members get a free modem (worth £20) and the £40 connection fee is waived The only small fly in the ointment is that if you cancel your account anytime within 12 months after you sign up you will need to pay for the modem and £40 connection fee, but if you already have a modem then you can use that instead of theirs saving you £20.
Whilst it is not the best offer ever, it is good to see a no ties contract and hopefully it will spur on some of the other broadband providers.
