RE: My two penny pot is actually a money box in the shape of a 2pence piece, not sure who issued them, but most likely as a promotion for the new coinage in 1971. (Plip)

Just to say I’ve got one of those 2 Pence money boxes, but there’s nothing in google image search or ebay. Not sure if it’s worth anything.

National Maritime Museum is totally brilliant, if you walk up the hill you can also visit the Royal Observatory, very close by is The Queen’s House.

All within a short walk from each other. It is also very close to the river.

All free too!!

Also if you have a Diesel car, see if you can find a supplier in your are who does bio-fuel? This could give you significant savings!!
